Zambian CBC & NCF on EduMate Africa
Zambia's education system is organised around the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and a Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) that emphasises learner competencies, formative assessment, and progression from early childhood through secondary (including O-Level and A-Level pathways). EduMate's Zambia teacher workspace reflects that structure in the tools you use every week.
What we align to
- Levels & grades — Early childhood, primary (lower and upper), junior secondary, and senior secondary bands with grade labels you already use in school.
- Subject → topic → competency chain — Wizard steps follow your curriculum hierarchy, including English and Zambian Language aspects where the syllabus requires them.
- Assessment philosophy — Exam papers can be generated in a classroom / CBC-friendly style or with stronger ECZ-style examination rigour for secondary papers, while staying within the competence-based spirit of the NCF.
Teacher tools in the Zambia hub
From your dashboard you can create and save lesson plans, teaching-note packs, and exam question papers tied to the selections you make in the wizard — so outputs stay traceable to the official strands you teach.
Student-facing past-question and quiz flows on the web app remain focused on Ghana. Teachers in Zambia (and other non-Ghana hubs) use the teacher workspace and coins where applicable.
